In the years I have taught using Leveled Literacy Intervention, I have watched children who used to find literacy activities difficult delve into reading and writing with enthusiasm and independence. The students’ awareness of their own growth and competencies is mirrored by their classroom teachers.

We are not aware of any alternative books available that meet the criteria and research conducted on the BAS texts provided.

I understand that we do not want kids to see BAS books multiple times. I thought I had heard in a BAS training that there was a list of Rigby books that could be used as interim assessment books. Is this correct? If so, where can I find this resource? I appreciate any help sent our way. Thanks!
