I have recently learnt about Read alouds and Interactive read alouds. I need some clarity on the exact differences as there seem to be overlaps. As I search online and read some literature , shared reading also gets introduced inbetween. I am confused. Kindly clarify.

You can find information about these literacy instructional contexts under the EXTEND Your Expertise tab above. There are informational blogs, webinars, and many other instructional tools that can help more than I can provide in this context.

Typically read-alouds are when an adult reads a text aloud to a child usually for enjoyment. Interactive Read-alouds are an instructional context. Shared Reading lessons begin with reading the text aloud first, then revisiting the text for a purpose.
