When one teacher does the BM for all K-7 students in the school, should all teachers and other staff get to see the results? Or should each grade teacher just get their own class results. I am thinking of confidentialities.

The BAS Assessment Guide suggests that each literacy teacher assesses their own students (page 8). The section on Using Results describes how the information can be used to make instructional decisions. Beyond that it is up to the school team to make decisions about how the information gathered is used. You are correct in thinking of this as any standardized assessment with confidentiality considerations when thinking about sharing information, but there are no guidelines from Fountas and Pinnell about that. Those considerations are left to the school administrative teams.

Best wishes!
