Have F & P ever thought of creating a linking chart for vowel digraphs and diphthongs? I know my students would benefit from one.

Is there a recommended number of groups per public school reading specialists? I know with budget cuts, my district has gone from having 5-7 groups to now having 9-10. With an intensive intervention how effective can one be with groups coming in and out every 5 minutes, a 30- minute lunch, and a 45-minute planning period? We are using orange, green, blue, and red kits for grades K-3, and the planning and prep work does take a substantial amount of time in addition to evaluating reading records and make lessons meet the needs of students.
