I'm wondering what you would suggest when a student takes longer than the others in the group to complete a task (for example the writing). I have a few kiddos that work a bit slower and I'm having a hard time keeping myself on time!

We'd suggest that you choose your teaching points wisely with these slower students and help them with the rest until you get them more fluent with known words and confident with taking risks. You will have to work with the classroom teacher and parents to help the slower students to become fluent and confident with what they know. It can certainly be a challenge, and we wish you and all your students success.
