Hello,

We are thinking it would be helpful for students to have hard copies of books to read at home. Are PDFs or printable versions of the LLI books available? If not, do you have any suggestions for how to help students access the books at home? We find some of our younger students have a hard time reading from the screen.

Currently there is no provision for printable texts from the Online Resources due to copyright. The only ‘hard copies’ available are the colored or black and white copies available in the catalog. If you have not already done so, you might check with your technical department to suggest available options using your district’s remote programs. You might also go to the Facebook page to see what other teachers might suggest:

Please keep checking https://fpblog.fountasandpinnell.com for other options as they become available. We are trying to accommodate teacher requests as much as possible!

Best wishes and thank you for your inquiry!
